Manhattan, New York, 1989. Certainly those two people were not telephoning with each other. But it seemed, that they were connected in love speech. This picture is part of my series "New York Blues". I wanted to translate my own mood in context with the mood of this outstanding city into colour. That had to be for me this monochrome blue.
